Arsenal defender Per Mertesacker has authority to fine teammates for breaches of discipline - and he takes the role VERY seriously!
Anyone guilty of breaking the rules is fined - and there are no exceptions.
"Yes, he has got me with a few fines," admitted Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who then went on to list the kind of offences that incur the wrath of Mertesacker.
"You get them for being late for meetings or for dinner, or for breakfast in the morning when we are at hotels," said Oxlade-Chamberlain.
"You get the fines for being late for training, using your telephone in the wrong areas of the training ground, on your phones in the dressing room... stuff like that.
