Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti took a backseat at halftime of their shock defeat to Athletic Bilbao.

Aritz Aduriz struck the only goal of the game for Bilbao.

At halftime, Marca reports, Real No2 Fernando Hierro took charge of the team talk for 'Los Blancos' in the San Mamés players' tunnel just before they headed out for the second half.

Iker Casillas, Marcelo, Dani Carvajal and Pepe were among the players Hierro spoke to, with other players joining the group while Ancelotti looked on from a few metres away.
