The future of Mesut Ozil will ultimately decide whether Alexis Sanchez remains at Arsenal, according to the Daily Star.

Both players are out of contract at the end of the season and the Gunners reportedly want to sell one of them in the winter.

Offers for Ozil have been scarce, meaning Sanchez is the most likely of the pair to be sold.

Arsenal want to cash in and with Sanchez, they could recoup £20m by selling him to Manchester City or Paris Saint Germain.

If Sanchez is shipped out, Ozil will be left to negotiate a new contract with Arsenal, or sign whenever he pleases as a free agent.
