AC Milan are set to sign Genoa striker Giovanni Simeone at the end of the season.

TMW says Genoa signed permanently from River Plate during deadline day yesterday.

Genoa now own Simeone's registration, but he's set to only stay until the summer.

Milan have an option for the striker and will trigger it in June.

Simeone is the son of Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone and has also been linked with Inter Milan.
