AC Milan cannot hand Gianluigi Donnarumma a new long-term deal, it has been revealed.
The 16 year-old is currently Milan's No1 goalkeeper and was expected to be handed a new contract to reflect his status.
However, TMW says talk of a deal to 2019 is wide of the mark. Because of his age, Donnarumma cannot be offered a contract longer than two years.
And it's suggested there's no plans at Milan to even move to upgrade Donnarumma's deal at this stage.
The teen's current agreement runs to 2018.
