Marco Reus believes former Borussia Dortmund teammate Mario Gotze will be sticking with Bayern Munich.

The midfielder has been linked with a return to BVB and Liverpool, but has stated his intention is to stay and fight for his place at Bayern.

"Of course I have talked with Mario. It is his decision to stay in Bavaria. He feels comfortable with the decision and we have to accept it," Reus told Funke Meidengruppe.

"As one of Dortmund's key players, it is my responsibility to air my opinions to management. I am interested in our plans for the future and want Dortmund to grow.

"Therefore, I hope, and expect, Dortmund to sign a few good players."
