Return of ex-Hull striker Cousin excites Rangers' McCulloch

Rangers veteran Lee McCulloch feels the impending arrival of Daniel Cousin will be a great boost to the squad.

The 35-year old Gabon international is set to complete his return to Ibrox after departing the club for Hull City in 2008 and McCulloch believes he will fit straight back into the 'Gers way of life.

"He's an all-rounder. When he was here the last time he had everything," said McCulloch.

"I think the feeling in the dressing room was that he was the best all-round striker we had at that time.

"I just hope he hits the ground running. It's a fresh face and it will give everybody a lift. The quality is there and he's a nice guy to have around.

"Hopefully he can settle in straight away."
