Retired Toronto FC star Jim Brennan is set to be appointed as the new assistant general manager at the club.
The former club captain and longest-serving player retired from playing this week and will now step into the role that Toronto FC will officially announce today according to reports.
Brennan enjoyed a stellar playing career in England with Bristol City, Nottingham Forest, Huddersfield Town, Norwich City and Southampton before joining Toronto in 2007.
The 33-year old has also represented the Canadian national team close to 50 times.
