Martin O'Neill has implored the Scottish Football Association to schedule the Euro2016 qualifier between Scotland and his Republic of Ireland at Celtic Park.
Tartan Army fans believed the SFA should hold the November 14 fixture at Rangers' home ground of Ibrox because Ireland boss O'Neill is a former Celtic manager and knows how to play at Parkhead.
But the ex-Leicester City, Aston Villa and Sunderland manager is of the belief that Celtic's home stadium would be a much better venue for Scotland, especially seeing as Parkhead would attract 10,000 more supporters and £40,000 more than Ibrox.
"Would I have a preference between Ibrox or Celtic Park? I'm sure you can tell my answer by the expression on my face rather than me putting it into words," he told the Daily Record.
"Do the Scotland fans really want it moved from Celtic Park? I don't know why they would want to shift it.
"Also I don't see having 10,000 extra Scotland fans inside the stadium as being an advantage to us. Listen, I'm surprised people are thinking along those lines.
"I'm sure the SFA would also want the extra money, surely to heavens."
