Norwich City goalkeeper Mark Bunn will be closely watched by Republic of Ireland coaching staff over the Christmas period according to Sky Sports.
The 28-year old English-born gloveman is making the most of an extended injury layoff to Canaries number one John Ruddy and his performances have attracted glances from the Ireland setup.
Bunn is eligible to represent the Irish team through his grandmother and father and manager Giovanni Trapattoni is keen to soon find a replacement for the retired Shay Given.
