Republic of Ireland boss Martin O'Neill doesn't expect to lose No2 Roy Keane, despite his move to Aston Villa.

O'Neill was asked was it his understanding that Keane would be continuing by his side for the Euro 2016 qualifiers.

"Very much so, yeah," said O'Neill, adding: "but that's always been my view, very much so from the start.

"I said that from day one - that he was excellent around the players, and he has added little bits here and there."
