Chelsea are set to continue discussions with the representatives of Paris Saint-Germain winger Ezequiel Lavezzi.

The Daily Star is reporting Lavezzi's agents Alessandro Moggi and Alejandro Mazzon met with the Blues on Wednesday to discuss the possibility of their client trading in the Parc des Princes for Stamford Bridge.

It is understood both parties left the first meeting on a positive note and talks about a summer move to the Premier League will continue over the coming days.

The 30-year-old Argentine is off contract at the end of the current season and has been permitted to speak with other clubs about his next move.
