The administrator of Crystal Palace has laughed off rumours that US rap star P Diddy is about to purchase the Championship outfit. The Sun reported a source who said Diddy, real name Sean Combs, was on the verge of buying into a London football club, and Palace was the likely target.
However, administrator, Brendan Guilfoyle said he would welcome a bid from the artist.
"There is no truth in it whatsoever, I wish," said Guilfoyle. "I am a big hip-hop fan and I would be delighted if P Diddy wanted to buy Crystal Palace. I would welcome an approach and would willingly fly to New York to discuss purchase."
