Arsene Wenger is desperate to replace the injured Cesc Fabregas and it could come in the form of a French midfielder from Paris Saint-Germain.

21-year old Clement Chantome has been linked with Arsenal in a move that could also involve defender William Gallas who has attracted interest from PSG.

The deal could be made easier due to Wenger's close relationship with PSG chairman Charles Villeneuve.
