A representative of Inter Milan fullback Douglas Maicon has confirmed an offer from Real Madrid.

Marco Rosi told AS: "Real Madrid has sent a fax to Inter and from this moment we will consider many things."

Rosi refused to declare how much Real have offered, but sources close to the deal say Maicon has been tabled a contract worth £120,000-a-week.
