French club Stade Rennes have rejected a bid from Crystal Palace for Gelson Fernandes.
Le Télégramme reports that the Rennes have turned down a €1.5million offer from the Eagles for the Swiss international.
It now looks unlikely that Palace will get the 30-year-old defensive midfielder before tonight's deadline.
