Manchester City striker Georgios Samaras is being linked with a move to French side Rennes after enduring a difficult 18 months at Eastlands.
The 22-year-old forward has found the net only eight times in 50 Premiership appearances for City, who now appear willing to cut their losses on the player.
Rennes are believed to have offered £2million for Samaras, while Heerenveen are also reported to be interested in bringing the player back to Dutch football.
Greek side Olympiakos and Spanish club Real Betis have also expressed an interest in Samaras.
