Valencia have secured Internacional de Porto Alegre goalkeeper Renan Brito to a four-year deal.

Aitor Montero, a representative of Renan's, confirmed the agreement yesterday, though refused to reveal any details of the transfer.

"What we're doing now," said Montero, "is finalising the details.

"He is very excited. He has always dreamed of playing in Europe for a major club."

Renan will join Valencia next week after his commitments to Brazil's Olympic Games campaign is over.
