Loic Remy admits he could've signed for Newcastle United last January.
Remy is on-loan at Newcastle this season from QPR.
The striker says he rejected a move to Newcastle last season over the way he was being treated by Olympique Marseille at the time.
He explained to L'Equipe: "(l'OM GM) Jose Anigo called me. 'We found an agreement with Newcastle. You're leaving tomorrow morning'.
"But, I had not given my agreement. I said I was not going to let them bully me into it. In addition, my agent began to hear things a little weird, threats ... I'm not a bad boy. So I packed my suitcase and I flew to England.
"But I finally joined QPR, who had also shown interest."
