Former Wor Jackie winner Remi Streete is at the centre of Willie Donachie's demise at Newcastle United.
Donachie was suspended and then resigned as U21 coach last night.
The Mirror says the clash with the 19-year-old happened following the Magpies' junior side's 2-0 derby defeat away to their Sunderland counterparts on Monday.
Streete had given away a penalty during the game, and there was a toe-to-toe row with Donachie, who is said to have lashed out and connected with the player.
Shocked squad members piled in to separate the pair, and Streete stormed out of the dressing room.
