Christian Panucci wants a move to Fiorentina.

The ex-Roma defender is out of contract following a middling campaign with Parma, but has no intention of hanging up his boots.

"I can confirm what we have said in recent months, that Panucci would be honoured to wear the Fiorentina jersey," agent Oscar Damiani told Violanews.com.

"The problem is that the club does not seem to share the same view. At the moment there is nothing new to report.

"I fear that Christian's dream of playing for the Viola will remain just that."
