Released Manchester City defender Martin Demichelis is today in Barcelona.

The veteran is now a free agent and Sport says he's flown into Barcelona for talks with Espanyol.

Espanyol officials are keen, but have told Demichelis to wait while they tie up other transfer targets.

Demichelis has also been linked with a return home to Argentina.

The former Bayern Munich stopper spent three seasons with City.
