Released Everton striker Femi Orenuga has relaunched his pro career in Sweden with Vasby United.
Orenuga, 19, joins the Stockholm-based club as a free agent. He had been without a club since May following his release by Everton.
''I signed a two-year deal with Vasby United, they are changing their name next season to AFC United. I had options of continuing my career in England, but I feel taking this step will benefit me to becoming a better player and making a big name for myself,'' Orenuga told allnigeriasoccer.com.
Orenuga, who did not play an official game for Everton, has had spells with Notts County and Southend United.
In the past season, Vasby United had four players of Nigerian origin - Prince Ikpe Ekong, Simon Ogunnaike, Sunday Bale and Sunday Abohwo - on their payroll.
