Released Chelsea striker Loic Remy will sign for Las Palmas today.

Marca says Remy passed a medical held by Las Palmas in London yesterday after negotiating a release from his Blues contract.

The Frenchman will be in Gran Canaria today to sign for Las Palmas in the afternoon.

Negotiations ran into the evening on Thursday, but an agreement was struck over a two-year contract for Remy.

The striker spent last season on-loan at Crystal Palace, but struggled with his fitness.
