Released Celtic striker in PSV Eindhoven link

PSV Eindhoven are open to the idea of signing Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink after the former Holland striker was released by Celtic.

"Is he really allowed to leave Celtic as a free agent? That's news to me," PSV technical director Adrie van Kraaij told Dutch newspaper Spits.

"Those stories that we were interested earlier on were nonsense. But now I will start talks internally, like we always do.

"Apart from that I won't give any comments."
