The relationship between QPR boss Harry Redknapp and the board is becoming tense.
The London Evening Standard says while Redknapp is not in immediate danger of losing his job, relations between him and the board have become strained in recent weeks following a poor start to the season which has left QPR bottom of the Premier League table with one win from eight matches, with Tim Sherwood a candidate for the role should they make a change.
The former Tottenham boss has been out of management since his departure from White Hart Lane at the end of last season, and has been linked with a number of roles in recent months.
The appointment of Les Ferdinand, who was Sherwood's assistant at Spurs, as Head of Football Operations at QPR, has only increased speculation surrounding Redknapp's future.
