Lazio boss Edy Reja is staying calm over his contract situation.

Reja has been at the centre of controversy this season with reports of problems with President Claudio Lotito and star striker Mauro Zarate.

"I live every day as it comes and everyone knows how I feel about that. It's bad luck for me to talk about the contract," insisted Reja.

"I confirm there is a deal with the club and we discuss strategy on a daily basis, so there are no problems, but I would prefer not to discuss my renewal now."
