Edy Reja was delighted after marking his first game in charge of Lazio with victory over Parma.

Guglielmo Stendardo and Mauro Zarate struck the goals in the 2-0 win.

Reja said: "I asked the lads to fight for every ball. I wasn't all that interested in how they moved it around and engaged in the tactics. I wanted to see a determined side.

"We have the players, it is important to believe in ourselves and have self-confidence."
