Lazio boss Edy Reja hit out at their critics after victory over Chievo Verona.

The Biancocelesti swept Chievo aside at the Stadio Bentegodi with a Miroslav Klose brace.

"I always read the newspapers, also as I'm so accustomed to being slammed," said the Coach.

"Criticism is the bread and butter of football journalism, if it is constructive, but at times it is unjustified and gratuitous. In these cases, it is really bad for the sport.

"I hope this victory can calm the atmosphere around Lazio, recharge our batteries and boost our enthusiasm."
