Reja delighted as Napoli end form struggle

Edy Reja was delighted after Napoli's superb 3-1 victory over Udinese.

Napoli attacking midfielder Ezequiel Lavezzi struck twice and created the other, which saw Cristian Zapata put through his own net.

"We had been without a win in seven games, went a man down and had our problems, but we showed what we are worth," said Reja.

"When Udinese had the extra man, they tended to slow down the tempo. Once they also went down to 10 men, it gave us a psychological advantage and that is when we earned this deserved victory."

Udinese forward Fabio Quagliarella admitted: "We did so badly. We didn't step on to the field with the right concentration, as in the opening four minutes they hit the crossbar twice and scored.

"We have to be more cynical and aggressive, we can't keep making so many mistakes. As for the referee, I don't like to discuss these things, the images are there for people to see."
