Lazio coach Edy Reja has cooled talk of a title bid this season.

The Biancocelesti are joint Serie A leaders alongside Inter after their hard-fought 1-0 win away to second-placed Chievo.

"I wouldn't like us to get ahead of ourselves and receive excessive praise now," said the Coach.

"It is just the beginning, even if we are doing very well. There is a long road ahead of us and we've got to take it one game at a time.

"Considering our calendar in these opening weeks, I really wouldn't have believed we'd be here."
