Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina feels victory over Everton sets them up for a top four finish.

Liverpool's win came as a relief, because they had lost their three previous Premier League games.

Reina hopes it will spur them on in the race for fourth place, and the Champions League spots.

"It's difficult. You have to be realistic, but we will fight and we won't give up until the end," he said. "This team has got very strong character and we will keep fighting, that's for sure."
