Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina admits it's crucial they keep hold of Fernando Torres.
Torres became the first player in the club's rich history to notch up four successive doubles on home turf during the Europa League quarter-final victory over Benfica, and one strike against Roy Hodgson's side will bring up 50.
"Fernando is an unbelievable striker and we are very grateful to have him at Liverpool," Reina told Liverpoolfc.tv.
"We were talking before the Benfica game about how many goals he has got and we knew he needed just three to make it 50 at Anfield.
"Now he just needs the one to make it 50 in 59 games which is unbelievable. He will keep scoring for us and will keep on breaking records."
Reina is certainly grateful to play alongside him rather than having to face the number nine bearing down on goal.
"I played against him back in Spain and believe you me it's not good when you have to face him," he added. "I am certainly happy to have him in my team at club and international level."
