Reid says West Brom must keep Hodgson

West Bromwich Albion defender Steven Reid says they must keep hold of manager Roy Hodgson.

The 64-year-old celebrates a year as Albion boss today with doubts over his future - he is among the candidates for the England job, but more significantly has so far failed to agree a new deal.

Reid admitted: "Since I've been here, it seems like we've gone from always being favourites to go down and yo-yo, to being disappointed we are six points away from the bottom three.

"So, hopefully Hodgson stays from a club point of view. I think he will be a candidate for the England manager. Harry Redknapp is a clear favourite.

"But behind that Hodgson has got all the credentials, the right CV and has coached pretty much all over the world."
