Andy Reid insists Sunderland's players are desperate to deliver fans a victory over Bolton Wanderers tomorrow.

"The fans are a massive factor here, even more so at home," the Irish midfielder told the club's website.

"We're on a bit of a bad run at home and we need them to get behind us and give us that lift when we need it, the support is very much appreciated.

"But we understand that we have to give them a lift as well and we'll be trying our best to do so on Saturday."
