Crystal Palace are upset with West Bromwich Albion defender Steven Reid.

The Daily Star says Reid has signed a one-year contract to stay at The Hawthorns - and upset Ian Holloway.

The Crystal Palace boss was desperate to sign the former Blackburn player to help his side in their first season back in the Premier League.

Reid's former club Millwall, along with fellow Championship sides Doncaster and Ipswich, were also keen.
