West Ham United defender Winston Reid hopes they can keep hold of Andy Carroll.

The striker is due to return to parent club Liverpool at the end of the season.

But Hammers defender Reid, 24, said: "Of course we would want him to stay. Andy has been a great addition for us and he seems happy and is playing well, scoring goals.

"He's a top player so any defender will find it hard playing him."
