Reid delighted for West Brom pal Berahino over goalscoring form

West Bromwich Albion defender Steven Reid is delighted for Saido Berahino over his recent form.

The striker scored again in their Capital One Cup defeat to Arsenal.

Reid, Albion's captain against the Gunners, said: "Berahino has that knack of getting goals and is going to be pushing to get into the team.

"He has come back from a serious knee injury last season and got himself fit and trim. I can't give Berahino enough credit. He has been superb. He has to be really knocking on the door. He is not scared to have a go. He is in great shape now and having an impact in each game.

"There is a turning point in every career when you have to decide what path you are going to go down and, thankfully for us, Berahino has his head right.

"It was probably his injury when he realised now is the time to knuckle down. Players only get one chance, and he has taken his"
