Reid confident Sunderland can bounce back at Spurs

Andy Reid is confident Sunderland can bounce back at Tottenham this weekend.

"It was disappointing but if you don't take your chances at Liverpool, you know you will probably lose the game," the Irishman told his club's website.

"Our last two games have been tough - no one expected us to get anything from Arsenal or Liverpool so I suppose the positive side is that we have won a point from one of them.

"I don't think this defeat will dent our confidence, we will be ready for Tottenham at our place on Saturday."

Reid spent 18 months at White Hart Lane after leaving Nottingham Forest in 2006.

"It's a game I'm looking forward to," said the 26-year-old. "After two tough away games, we have two home games now, they are the big ones."
