Steven Reid admits he turned down bigger offers to sign a new 12-momth deal with West Bromwich Albion.
Reid inked new terms last month.
The full-back, 32, said: "It's the best league in the world. I was close to going elsewhere but for me it was all about staying in the Premier League.
"There were better financial offers on the table, two in the Championship!"
