Reggina patron Lillo Foti has revealed they're close to securing Walter Novellino to a contract.

"A mutual understanding immediately emerged between us and I think to certify his arrival we are missing only the pro forma act of the signature on the contract," said Foti.

"After reaching an agreement with the Coach, we will decide how to go forward on the transfer market to strengthen the squad and prepare it for the climb it will need from September onwards."
