Refs chief Mike Riley insists diving in the Premier League is diminishing this season.
Manchester United winger Ashley Young and Liverpool striker Luis Suarez are among a number of players who been hammered for going to ground too easily.
Riley said: "We've seen a drop-off in simulation offences.
"We should be proud it's not an accepted part of our game. Players say it is not acceptable. Supporters said it is not acceptable.
"We mustn't lose the moral argument; it puts the onus on players not to do it."
