Ref: So easy to wind up Man Utd striker Ibrahimovic. This is how I did it...

Dutch ref Bas Nijhuis has recalled one game when he enjoyed winding up Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Nijhuis took charge of a friendly last year between Sweden and the Czech Republic, which finished 1-1 and featured Ibrahimovic.

He told local radio: "The Friends Arena in Solna was full, fantastic.

"With 86 minutes played, Zlatan got a little push. I whistled but not more. And he's run to me: 'What do you think? Me, the big Zlatan. You have to give him a red card, I could break my back'. I said 'Zlatan come on, be normal man. It's just a free kick'."

Njhuis continued: "I thought he would understand. But he was really angry. I said, 'Stop it, get away!' He said, 'I'll get him myself'. He wanted to take revenge.

"It was meanwhile the 88th minute of the match," said Nijhuis. "A free kick came in from the second post, Zlatan leaned an opponent and knocked it home for 2-1. Then the whole stadium went loose, it was a big party. Until I gave a free kick against. And against Zlatan I said: 'Thank you for warning me!' He got mad."
