Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers is happy to let Danny Ings find his feet at the club after his summer arrival from Burnley.
Ings scored his first Liverpool goal in the 2-0 victory against Adelaide United in Australia on Monday and afterwards, Rodgers praised him for adjusting slowly to life as a Reds player.
"I think it will do well for his confidence," Rodgers told LFC TV.
"He has come in and he has worked very hard.
"He knows he is a work in progress, coming into a club of this stature, he knows it will take time."
