Reds legend Smith urges Liverpool to go for Swansea's Dyer

Liverpool legend Tommy Smith says they should buy Swansea City winger Nathan Dyer in the summer.

Dyer has played his way to the fringes of the England squad this season.

“I see Dyer is being linked with a possible England call-up and I’m not surprised that more and more people are starting to sit up and take notice of him,” said Smith.

“He caught my eye two or three years ago and I said then that he had something I thought we could well do with at Anfield.”
