Harry Redknapp can't work out why Tottenham's key players are always being linked with Premier League rivals.
Gareth Bale is reportedly a target for Manchester City which comes after the Luka Modric saga which saw Chelsea very keen on the midfielder last year.
Redknapp wonders why is it always a top Spurs player that is the subject of speculation and asks why other top clubs never have their key personnel in the papers.
"I don't see why Tottenham should be seen as a club that's going to sell its best players.
"Are they going to sell (David) Silva or are they going to sell (Vincent) Kompany this week, Man City?
"Are Manchester United going to sell (Wayne) Rooney or Chelsea going to sell their best players?
"Arsenal? (Robin) van Persie perhaps is going to go.
"I don't know why we should be labelled as a club that's going to sell one of our best assets. We're not going to sell our best players.
"We're looking to build a team here not dismantle a team.""I haven't read it to be honest with you," he said of the Bale rumours. "It's the first I've heard of that one. It's something to write about I suppose really.
