Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp is adamant Ledley King should go to the World Cup.
Redknapp has no doubts about the quality of King and that he should be representing his country on the greatest stage of all this summer.
"I would take him for sure," said Redknapp. "And I think there is a very good chance that he will go.
"He has this knee problem that is now not going to improve and we just have to manage it. And he can't play three games in a week.
"If he played against Egypt, then he won't play for us the following game. But I want to see him go to the World Cup, whatever it takes. He is up there with the best central defenders in the country.
"England are very well off in that position. We have Rio Ferdinand, John Terry and Ledley. They could play in any team in the world."
