West Ham United will battle to bring in an apt replacement for Sam Allardyce.
The 60-year old manager and the east London club parted ways last week but it will not be easy to fill his void according to former Hammers, Tottenham and QPR boss Harry Redknapp.
"Sam did an excellent job there when you look at his record," Redknapp said in an exclusive interview with the talkSPORT's Weekend Sports Breakfast. "It's not going to be easy to replace him.
"Getting rid of somebody like Sam, to find someone to come in now and take the club forward will be hard.
"West Ham are a mid-table team in the Premier League now, which is decent for them, they're going into a new stadium and they've got to stay in the Premier League.
"I'm sure they will do that, they've got a good group of players, they recruited well last year and it's a good job for somebody, it's a good club.
"They've got great support and it's a great opportunity for someone to go and take the club on and carry them forward."
