Harry Redknapp wants to take his backroom staff at Tottenham with him to the England job.

Redknapp, 64, wants to take Kevin Bond and Joe Jordan with him to England and safeguard their immediate futures. The Spurs boss will also move swiftly to ensure that Stuart Pearce, the ­current caretaker England coach, will have a pivotal role in the future England set-up, says the Sunday Mirror.

Redknapp sees Pearce - in charge of England this Wednesday - as a vital ­component in his backroom team if the White Hart Lane boss is invited to take charge of England's ­European Championship campaign.
