Redknapp wants crunch Fernandes talks over QPR future

QPR boss Harry Redknapp is prepared to stay if they're relegated.

QPR boss Harry Redknapp is prepared to stay if they're relegated.

The Mirror says Redknapp wants sit-down talks with QPR owner Tony Fernandes when the club is relegated - and is willing to stay to build a new team.

Rangers look certain to suffer the drop out of the Premier League, and Redknapp is desperate to find out what his boss plans to do.

The veteran boss is prepared to carry on in the Championship and start again if Fernandes sends him the right signals.

But Redknapp is equally willing to move on - with some jobs likely to be available in the summer that may appeal to him, he is keen to find out what Fernandes thinks as soon as possible.

Sources close to Redknapp have revealed that the meeting will be key to what happens next at the west London club, whose mix-and-match squad have come up well short this season.
